I have a relative that I love very much but she has ADHD and since she was first diagnosed as a child, she has refused to take any meds. She is now in her 40's and still no meds and no help. She is a mess. She is inadvertently driving her husband crazy; she is totally unreliable; and she is a mother of a 6 yr. old. She forgets everything 2 sec. after she says it. Where can she get some help? She has psychiatrist who does nothing for her. Any ideas from anyone?? __________________________________________________ | |

In order to do this we have to change every nerve cell in someones body. I dont have kids, however I wasnt totally against drugs. the syntax of my comment may have seemed otherwise. Being a child who was diagnosed with ADD originally and found out later I did not have it was a big bring down for me. It affected my grades throughout all my middle school and some of high school. I think we need to adress the corrupt parts of psychiatry though. __________________________________________________ | |

People want to trust them. They have education and they have experience. They have science. But the drug companies use their position of authority for gaining money. They don't care about making people well. They want as many people permanently on drugs as they can... __________________________________________________ | |
