I know our nations may have its disputes, but speaking from the English point of view, we will never forget JFK. An extremely sad day for all of humankind, as with Princess Di. Once again, thank you.

Thank you for this video. I myself am 30, so I was not born for another 13 years when this happened. I'm also from England, but to hear what it meant to the people who were around, like yourself is significant to the likes of myself who want to know, who are willing to listen and to learn. My mother, who was 7 at the time remembers my grandmother telling her "They've shot a good man."

I am practically obsessed with the JFK assassination. In fact, I once traveled to Dallas (from CT) JUST to see Dealey Plaza and all the other assassination sites. I often imagine one day talking to people about Sept. 11 the way people talk about JFK's death today.

That's a very thoughtful, insightful reaction. We say it about 9/11 now, but, no doubt about it, everything changed that day, too.

I was inside my mother' womb when JFK was killed, but I have since come to feel a real connection to this event. This horrible murder done for the sake of ego alone is equally as troubling. He(Oswald) did incalculable harm to the nation's psyche and more than likely caused the Vietnam War to escalate. Hard to believe that Oswald succeded in killing so many with those three bullets.

They certainly brought color and joy to the White House, something no other president has done. The Clintons came close. That Jacky was something else. She was the most popular woman of her time. My father was a delegate from NH to Kennedy's Convention in Los Angeles in 1960. I went with him. I was 20 years old. I still remember where I was when Kennedy was shot.

You know, that's been debated for decades...unknowable. But we know we changed forever that day. Thanks, Karl.
