Saw them in Denver on that same tour. I also had no idea of what was in store for me. I was more familiar with the opening acts, Foghat & the James Montgomery Band. I didn't even know I was going till about 2pm when a friend put a ticket in my hand before my last class of the day. I'd heard of this guy with the voice of Stewart and the range of Plant--complete w/ curved "shower" mike that stood 6 or 8"over his head. It turned out to be the best concert experience of my life.
