Description: DESERTPHILE HEREBY PLACES THIS, HIS INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, INTO THE PUBLIC DOMAIN. The YouTube user ScientistKeith was kind enough to point me to two videos Reverend Kent Hovind made wherein Reverend Hovind made a stellar idiot out of himself while trying to talk about stars. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_AeLEAcea0 |

| Desertphile ::: Favorites "approximately 37 minutes and 25 seconds." ROTFL! Thank you very much. When ever I see large numbers I get a nose bleed. 07-09-13 14:48:05 __________________________________________________ | |

| bpabbott1st ::: Favorites "It can be done if the particle passes through the correct medium. However the issue is the speed of light through a vacuum." Is this in reference to the group velocity? 07-09-11 07:36:26 __________________________________________________ | |
| Desertphile ::: Favorites "I'd love to see that ... got a link?" It can be done if the particle passes through the correct medium. However the issue is the speed of light through a vacuum. 07-09-10 23:19:16 __________________________________________________ | |

| bpabbott1st ::: Favorites Great video! I will offer one constructive comment. I wish you'd use the adjective "observable" more frequently when discussing attributes of the Universe ... the number of galaxies for example. Many will conclude that we actually know how many galaxies exist, rather than just knowing how many we are able to observe. In a unfortunate irony, these individual will fall into the same trap as does Hovind who obviously believes that the only SNR are those which we are able to observe. 07-09-10 23:03:20 __________________________________________________ | |
| Orutra621 ::: Favorites Well, things can move faster than light. German physicists have moved a particle faster than light. 07-09-10 22:51:30 __________________________________________________ | |
| Desertphile ::: Favorites "This "creator" must be one terribly busy dude, just making light." And also busy keeping an eye on everyone's sex lives. It must noty be easy being a god. 07-09-10 22:30:15 __________________________________________________ | |
