They were needed to police your streets because half of the NOPD quit on the spot. Stop crying about mercenaries. They're body guards - and they nearly all are ex-mil & ex police. You are absolutely right Leslie50219. Legions of spoiled and delusional secular humanists in America think that Blackwater is wrong for saving their own hides in a time of war and terror. Blackwater is simply a police firm for hire. Secularists should blame Bush incorporated and then sadly blame themselves.

Did you happen to think about what all this bad press towards Blackwater is doing to those who have done nothing but do their job and put their lives at risk day in and day out? Let me inform you, this is putting their lives more at risk. Also, there has been no declaration on the investgation, so you can't say that they fired first unless you were personally there... It will be sorted out, in the mean time, don't call them guilty until proved so.

I am fine in my home and property and person, after seeing how Blackwater treated victims of hurricane Katrina, I request that they never attempt to assist me or my family-we can ride out any storm for a very long time without ever leaving our home-this means I request you never step on my property while my mortgage and taxes are paid in full! That's what I think of Blackwater...lock and load!

Yawn. I heard the same blather back in the 70's from people who are now invested more in the stock market and are more hard core neo-cons than I will ever be. Iraq is a mess, Blackwater is a mess, it was all a mistake, I know, thats why I'm not involved anymore. Put down that hash pipe, start drinking and make some money, you'll be less fustrated.
